Advanced foot care is provided by a licensed healthcare professional, such as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN). It uses medical-grade instruments and strict infection-control practices, including full sterilization of tools, to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Salon pedicures are cosmetic and not designed to treat or monitor medical foot concerns. They are typically provided by Cosmetologists or Estheticians, who are trained in cosmetic nail care, not medical assessment or treatment. They are not licensed healthcare professionals and do not provide medical foot care or manage health-related foot conditions.
We provide mobile foot care services in private homes, senior living communities, assisted living facilities, and care settings.
Community programs or discounts may be available in certain circumstances. We also offer multi-client discounts for facilities, group homes, or shared spaces where five or more clients are seen on the same day. Please contact us directly to discuss current offerings or eligibility.
We provide foot care services to clients of all ages.
Appointment length varies based on individual needs and the type of service booked.
Your appointment includes a comprehensive foot assessment, treatment, and education tailored to your individual needs. Please see our Services page for details on what is included in each service.
We don't soak feet as it introduces infection risk and skin integrity concerns, particularly for high-risk clients.
Treatments are generally well tolerated. We work gently and carefully to ensure comfort at all times, and offer topical numbing for procedures and treatments that may be less comfortable or for those who are very sensitive to pain (we don't judge!)
Foot concerns like thickened nails and calluses develop over time and usually can’t be fully corrected in a single visit. While we aim for meaningful improvement at each appointment, some conditions require multiple treatments or ongoing care. For best results, foot health is approached as a process rather than a one-time service.
Our Standard Services—including Initial Visits, Follow-Up Visits, Toenail Trim Only, and Compression Garment Fitting—each have a set price and a set appointment time, so you know what to expect when booking.
We also offer Specialized Services and Treatments, which can be added to a Standard Service for an additional fee (such as Onyfix).
Some specialized treatments are also available as Standalone Services (such as ToeFX) when a client only needs a specific treatment without the additional components of a Standard Service.
All instruments are individually sterilized and sealed for each patient. We use surgical-grade instruments that are cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized between each client according to Alberta Health Services guidelines. In addition, all care is delivered in accordance with strict medical infection prevention and control standards.
Yes, nail polish can be applied for a small additional fee. Certain conditions, such as fungal nail infections, may contraindicate nail polish application.
Follow-up visits focus on ongoing assessment, maintenance care, and monitoring of any previously identified concerns.
